Community Assistance Programs

For the rural community, getting electricity, water supply and raw materials to build schools, churches and homes often is a major challenge for them due to their limited financial resources. Road travel is time consuming and is usually over difficult terrain. As such, we recognize that the rural community need help to improve their standard of living. Many times, we make it our mission to reach out to these less fortunate villagers in need of our assistance and collaborate together to address each of their needs within their local community.

We keep in constant touch with leaders of each village, assessing each individual community needs and provide assistance in services, cash and kind so that their lives and living conditions are more comfortable. Such assistance can be by way of regular transportation to another village, donation of fuel supplies and building materials. From time to time, we have made financial contributions to their Christmas fund for their community celebration.

Over the years, we have extended our support to no less than 19 different villages, each with unique individual needs. In addition to the above contributions, we also make other supplementary donations to enable the communities to level the ground for building houses as well as donating raw materials such as zinc sheets, plywood, water pipes, logs, cement and chain saws. We undertake road repairs and maintenance and give monthly allowances to various Village Chiefs in the local communities.
