Miri Waterfront Commercial Centre

Miri city is the second largest city in Sarawak, achieving city status on May 20, 2005. At the forefront of the rapid development is Interhill Group's subsidiary company Unique Harvests Sdn. Bhd., developing the project of Miri Waterfront Commercial Centre, which consists of indisputably successful commercial shop houses fronting the breathtaking Sungai Miri.

Miri Waterfront didn't start out with such a rosy outlook in the beginning. The once dilapidated area was once a squatter's colony. Unique Harvests Sdn. Bhd. is the first private development company to peacefully and smoothly migrate the squatters to a new resettlement at Tudan and Piasau Utara area, where they remain today.

Miri Waterfront Commercial Centre spans across five phases - the first of which is Phase One, consisting of 18 units of 4-storey shop houses which was completed in 1996.

Phase Two comprises of 2 blocks of 6-storey commercial building completed in 1999 namely Wisma Interhill and Wisma Sarawak Plantation, 26 units of 4-storey shophouses and a 6-storey car park which can accommodate 430 cars and a recreation of a Feng Shui revolving marble ball fountain which had been handed over to the Miri City Council.

Phase Three consists of 20 units of 4-storey shop houses completed in 2001 whereas Phase Four consists of 40 units of 4-storey shop houses completed in 2003.

Today, the final Phase Five plans to construct an impressive high rise commercial tower and a scenic landscaped green acre park is currently depending on market situation.
